Prophase is a stage from Mitosis, a cycle of which a eukaryotic cell reproduces using asexual reproduction. Prophase starts off with the nuclear membrane (nucleus's membrane) fading away/disintegrating. Chromosomes are tangled like spaghetti noodles in the nuclei. Centromeres appear in the cell, and start to go to the opposite ends of the cell. Once the process is done, Spindle Fibers] start to appear from from the centromere.
